Digital art I made of 7-year old Fox McCloud and his father, James, playing in an onsen. I loved how it turned out, especially how I drew the background, space, steam, and characters overall. Whether or not you love it is up to you, but I recommend you view it from a Japanese perspective.
I, Skoshiman, am just some happy, imaginative young fellow who loves to express his ideas. I happen to draw fan art during free time and doodle for fun. Imagining action sequences, scenes of sadness, and gorgeous visuals are what I love to do, and I frequently love to visualize the interactions between characters who don't normally interact. -----------------------------------

Star Fox 2 will be canon! It's confirmed that the SNES Classic would be released with the never-released game installed! First hearing this, my reaction was: m.youtube.com/watch?v=tmrWeliK… I mean, WOW. I never knew Nintendo would actually make a move like that. That said, it was recently able to appeal to fnas well with the Metroid Prime 4 announcement and Samus Returns remake, so...YAY!
If you are not aware of the upcoming release of Sony Picture Animation's "The Emoji Movie," a film with a self-explanatory title, in theaters this summer, then I suggest you watch the trailer(s) for it online.
Since the teaser of the film was released, MANY on the Internet have responded to its existence with extremely negative reviews and many videos or comments that portray it as a disgrace to humanity, or a reason for the decay of intelligent life forms, or causing of Spongebob's death. For further proof, if you look up the original teaser, you can see that the likes, dislikes, AND comments have been removed, and almost every trailer for "The Emoji Movie" has enormous amounts of dislikes. In addition, people love to make videos that point out or over-emphasize how cringe-worthy its concept is, even if those videos are incredibly mean-spirited.
To be honest, I believe that this over-hate for "The Emoji Movie" is dumb, immature, and pointless, because of three reasons:
1. The film has not even come out yet in theaters, so calling it an "abomination" before even watching it seems rushed and immature. Prejudgement is something we all do, and it is important that you try to get people excited to see a film when you market it. It is a fact that the marketing for "The Emoji Movie" is terrible, and it's one of the factors that led to people's over-exaggerated hatred. However, just because the marketing is terrible does not mean that the film itself is terrible. There are a few instances in which the trailer or even the company makes a work look stupid, but the end product turns out to be a pleasant surprise. A good example is "Guardians of the Galaxy," which was one of Marvel's most critically successful films despite having trailers that made it look like a cheesy, stupid soap opera. Sure, the trailers of "The Emoji Movie" might be bad, but what if it does not turn out to be bad? Where's your hate going to go? Nowhere. 2. Sony is still going to release the film, regardless of public hate. Again, this makes the hate pointless. Sony Animation Studios is a business, which means that it is designed to make money. To make money, Sony must release animated films that people would go to watch despite their quality or effort put in (and this is from the same guys who milk Alvin and Smurfs that people still see). Yes, "The Emoji Movie," is hated, but it will still be released solely for the money it would likely obtain from it (of course, people will watch it since it has FREAKING EMOJIS). 3. "The Emoji Movie" likely won't be good, but there are MANY other things to worry about. If you're a young adult or a teenager, don't you have anything else to complain or debate about rather than a silly kids' flick? Work? Politics? Religion? Public Incidents? Your family? Your friends? You, as someone who does not feel impressed by the trailers of "The Emoji Movie," can either give the film a chance or just not watch it at all. In other words, just leave it alone and worry about things that would have greater impacts on the lives of others than an animated film that doesn't seem to contain political outcries or misrepresentations. Complaining about a harmless film rather than debating the President's decisions or addressing family concerns just makes you look like an immature toddler who whines about the color of his bottle not being his favorite color. Just imagine how your boss would respond if he saw you say, "Oh! The world's gonna end! Children will become retards! They'll make a 'Dab Movie'! All because of the Emoji Movie!"
In conclusion, prejudgment is acceptable, and people are allowed to have their opinions on something. I am not saying that "The Emoji Movie" will be good or that it's wrong to hate it. I am simply stating that the over-exaggerated hate for it is pointless and dumb. Be my guest if you want to complain about it and claim it will make the world retarded, but I'll just sit back and let Sony do its thing without beating it down.
